Bega Valley Motors Rally 2003

A beautiful winter's day, smooth and flowing roads, a cracker of a field and a few choice spectating locations; what more could we ask for? Here are the results of MFoto's day at Bega. The first spot in SS1 was great, an uncalled RGR after a straight, on top of a hill with a great view of the green pastures all around. Lots of action here with many cars going very wide and bouncing over the rough stuff, but all made it back onto the road to continue for another stage. Some weren't so lucky and didn't even make it to our spot. We found out just how unlucky on our way out of the stage at the end, nasty stuff (see pics of car 11 and 46). We made it to the speedway part way through the field and had to leave early to get to the final forest point, so not all cars were taken there unfortunately. We did stay at Wombat/Burrawang Rd for everyone though. Enjoy the pics!

Congratulations to Brett and Andrew on a consistently quick drive to victory.

Note from Darren: I took over 350 pics so not all photos from the event are displayed here (we don't have the space). Please send an email if you'd like to receive all pictures of a particular car. I have uploaded the better pics here, but there are some really good photos that aren't diaplyed also. These samples are highly compressed, low resolution versions. To get an idea of the quality of the full size orginal files, check out the hi-res page. To order a print or hi-res image of a particular photo, simply click on the image once it is displayed in this panel, and you will be taken to the order page of the photographer who took that shot.
