The 2002 AusSport Fingal Rally was relocated to the forest behind Scamander due to logging around the Tower Hill area. Hosted by the 500 Car Club of Tasmania the rally sprint attracted 17 entries (2 from Victoria) which raced over 6 Special Stages.
